With tailift design and manufacturing facilities established in the UK since 1987, DEL Equipment (UK) Limited have the expertise and experience to provide you with the complete tailift solution.
Right from its start-up, DEL benefited from a very close association with a leading North Amercian tailift manufacturer with factories in Buffalo & Toronto. With their support, DEL made steady continuous progress in the market. In 2000, a company re-organisation led to a strengthening of its ties with its associate companies, with DEL becoming part of the MHI group. The MHI group are now a leading manufacturer of tailifts on both sides of the Atlantic providing light, medium and heavy-duty tailifts for use in the most demanding and hazardous of environments.
Since the re-organisation, DEL UK has continued to expand its product range and customer base, year on year, so that by 2005 it was already manufacturing more tailifts for commercial vehicles than any other UK manufacturer. The move of its manufacturing facilites, in late 2006, to a 64000 square foot factory effectively doubled its capacity, opening up new opportunities for further product development and market growth.
The intercompany sharing of design and production engineering skills, greatly enhanced with common 3D design software, has led to an acceleration of innovative and cost effective ideas, driving DEL to the forefront of product reliability and value.
